Accommodations in Toronto

Toronto is the largest city in Canada and is often compared to New York as a major cultural and financial center in North America. With a vibrant mixture of cultures and rich history, Toronto is organized in neighborhoods, each with its own unique character and each having a variety of hotels, restaurants, and shops.

The Rotman School at the University of Toronto, site of the 2008 ISNIE Annual Meeting, is located in the Bloor-Yorkville neighborhood. ISNIE has arranged blocks of rooms at several hotels in the immediate area. (See below.) In addition, many other hotels in Yorkville offer special rates to guests of the “Rotman School” or “University of Toronto” – be sure to check when making your reservation. Additionally, there are a variety of accommodations downtown and Harbourfront. Many of these will require a brief subway ride; however, there is an exit very close to the Rotman School. The Park Hyatt Toronto is a full service hotel conveniently located at 4 Avenue Road in Yorkville, a short walk from the Rotman School. Holiday Inn Midtown

The Holiday Inn Midtown is a business class hotel located several blocks from the Rotman School at 280 Bloor Street West. A block of sleeping rooms is being held here at the special rate of $124.99 CAN plus tax for a single or double room. Ramada Plaza Toronto

A limited block of sleeping rooms is being held at the Ramada Plaza Toronto at the rate of $140 CAN plus tax. Located at 300 Jarvis Street in the Garden District, the Ramada is within walking distance of the Rotman School.
